Georgian Grill in Midland

A little dated but it works for the locale. Decent burgers and the onion rings are fantastic! Overall a great place and just steps away from Balm Beach.

I've been coming to this place since I was 16 years old. Great food and variety. I'm sure there will be one or two arcade games that you'll want to play. Great location as well!

This is the best place to get a burger and play a few games, hands down!

They make decent food for an arcade/diner. Arcades are outdated and prices are a little high. But there are very few restaurant choices so I can't complain.

You're not going here because of the modern decor or the healthy food options (but they do have a couple of vegetarian options). You're going here because it's an old school, greasy spoon joint that makes kick ass food, is right in front of the beach and has an arcade in it. And if you drink beer, you're in luck! Oh and if you feel like dessert after, they have tons of different flavoured ice cream, ice cream sandwiches and funnel cakes.

Great place to spend on a rainy day. Good burgers and fries. We had a 9 year old to entertain and this place fit the bill!

A yearly highlight of our trips up to Balm Beach. The food is fresh and well prepared, the games runt he gamut from old school classics like Galaga and Ms Pac Man to more recent first person shooters. There are also several ticketed games, so the kids can bring home a souvenir from their time at the arcade.

Best place north of the city. Live down the street. Been visiting for the past 12 years. Fish Tails!!!

Okay. Family food...

Great food. I’ve been coming since I was a child and now I’m sharing the experience with my children.

My bf and I had the bacon cheeseburger and shared the poutine($25)....everything was freshly cooked, however the food tasted too salty..fries were for sure from frozen generic brand and the burger patty tasted like a frozen made patty (like from Costco) The inside was dirty. (Tables were not wiped) and too many toddlers having a meltdown in the arcade...not worth the $25, they only take cash too ...so if you have a card you have to take money from their atm. I think I'll just stick to ice cream next time.

Horrible experience ..ordered food and was yelled at for taking tray outside. Because it had the receipt of what I ordered ..could the guy not remove the receipt since he wasn't able to remember my order I was the only one at the time ordering so should have been easy Never was treated so bad ..cra should also be aware that the money earned and requested amount includes taxes but it's not going into the till It's manually calculated ...so I guess another business paying no taxes and we all have to subsidize them ..rude obnoxious people

I order the grilled chicken everytime with bacon and cheese cause it was yummy first time. So I stayed with it. My hubby says burgers are really good and our friends that come up like the poutine and kids have fun

Fantastic staff. Very friendly. Food is good. Great atmosphere. Only issue is it's a cash only place.

Good food at a good price. The staff are always very friendly and professional. I would have gave a better rating, but it seems as though a majority of the games for the arcade are always out of order. Also, the prizes available aren't at all worth the amount of money spent to win them. This would be an awesome place to go to if the games were updated every so often and they worked when you went to play them.

I have been coming here for about 20 years now as I have a cottage down the road and it is such a gem! The fries and burgers are so good and the arcade has a huge variety of games that will keep your kids (or yourself...) occupied for hours. They have a lot of ice cream as well and it's family owned. It's such a great place to come in the summer and it's steps (literally across the road) from the public beach.

Delicious burger and fries with rich gravy. The fish and chips is an absolute disaster though. Square piece of fish? It's an insult to fried fish and at $14.00 is not worth it. I also doubt the fish is Haddock. Nobody in their right mind destroys perfectly good Haddock and turns it into a piece of processed food. No coleslaw either as a side.

Damn the good old Georgian Grill. My family owned a cottage on Oliver Dr in the 90's and this was the place to be. We were teenagers and loved this place. Arcades, beach, girls cheeseburgers and a baseball diamond. Not sure what it's like now but great memories at this place.

Worst Funnel Cake I've ever had in my life they need to learn what a funnel cake shoud be like. You pay extra for everything you put on it sugar, cinnamon, strawberries, ice cream however there was no cinammon and barely any powder sugar a few strawberries and a dolup of ice overall extremely dissatisfied the cake over cook and grease!

I've been coming here for years and the food, people and location can't be beat. Other food places on the beach have come and gone but this staple being open is always a good reminder that summer's arrived and fresh homemade hamburgers are back for the season.

Completely disgusted when I visited last summer. I ordered a funnel cake and while I was waiting the cooks had fly swatters killing about 100 flies flying around. I almost vomited at the thought of eating that funnel cake. I can only how many dead flies were in that grease. I just walked away I didn't bother even picking up the funnel cake! Nasty disgusting!!!!!

Great place to spend an afternoon with family

Our local restaurant in Schomberg does a breakfast for $4.99 before noon. This is on a proper plate and cutlery, with home fries, choice of ham, bacon, or sausage, two eggs.Includes slice of orange and lettuce, plus toast and jam. At Georgian Grill for $5.99 we had a polystyrene plate, plastic cutlery, very thin slice of ham, two eggs, two hash browns and toast.

Family owned fast food joint with great burgers and onion rings. Nice place for a quick bite or ice cream on a summer day.

Had fun with the kids! Arcade and good food on the beach. Balm Beach! Yeah!
